The Six Days War 1967
The six days war was the third of the four large Middle East wars and was one of the quickest in warfare history.
- Nasser expels the UN peace keeping force from the canal zone in 1967
- Egyptians close the straits to the Israelis and mass troops on the border
- The Israelis are intelligent and know of the attack and follow through with the first strike policy
- The Israelis destroy the Egyptian air force, take the Sinai Peninsula, Golan Heights and West Bank all in a matter of 6 days
- The USA had to step in to halt the attacks because of fear of angering the other Arab Nations.
