Summary.
After the all white National Party came to power in South Africa in 1948 the whites and blacks were separated in many different ways through racial segregation. Blacks and Coloured peoples were not allowed to marry outside of their own race, chose where they wanted to live, or travel abroad. The rtule swere enforced by the police and army making any sort of misconduct very difficult.
